Distance security courses?

Does anyone know some distance education courses from UK delivered worldwide and giving recognised qualifications?
I have found only Syl cert. still not sure if it is fully distance. And is it worth anything?
Im mainly interested in security management & terrorist courses, maybe criminology...
But basicly im on to security management..

If someone can give some good links it would be appreciated.

wouldnt it be good idea to create specialised forum partt for security education/training? I think many need some info on that... Together its easier to find what you need

There is a wealth contained in multiple posts on here - try the search option on the site header bar with degree / management / training / education as some of the keywords.

If you want to enhance your internet search capabilities have a look at this site for a quick guide on using Boolean operators. Does not really answer your question but might be useful for sifting through the frustrating amount of dross that internet searching usually turns up.
