Good day Gents,
I need some help about sia Licence. When I'd woked in UK with my ex-company started the proceed to get a licence. Passed the exam and everything was right but I left the country before I get the licence. So I would like to know who's the person/organization I have to search with this question. In this case do I have to start again everything? All info appreciated. Stay safe NW |

Did you fill in an application for a license? I fso you can find out from the sia web page whether it is in their process. You need to be using internet explorer. Go to their homepage www.the-sia.org.uk and look for a blue box part way down the page about in the middle that says "Search our application status checker". You just need to put in your name and date of birth.
If you're not in the system then you'll have to start a new application. You might have to get the reference number from your course which you should be able to get from the training company. |

You need to contact the sia themselves. They can check to see if the course that you done was legitimate and whether you passed it. You may be asked which awarding body your course was being run through - eg, City & Guilds, EdExcel, BIIAB etc. You can get their contact details on line at the Security Industry Authority Website. If your Licence was applied for they will have those details aswell.
