Thanks for the link, I especialy like the hardware keylogger project and line tap circuits although it didn't mention about getting the line resistance right as exchanges are set up to flag high resistance across the line. Shame really as HLR boxes worked well in the 70's and 80's. 30p worth of components = free calls for all your mates and got rid of side tone which was handy for patching into a mixer for recording. Definetly way more fun building bespoke equipment
