The demand for thoroughly trained Surveillance and Intelligence Operators is increasing rapidly. TASK International’s Surveillance and Intelligence Operators course equips the security officer with the relevant skills to carryout complex surveillance operations, whilst also enabling the operator to collate the relevant intelligence that is gathered, through covert measures.

During the course students will be exposed to the various tactical and legal aspects of surveillance, ensuring strict compliance with the Law to include the Human Rights act - Article 8 Right to Respect for Private and Family Life also Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 Part II Surveillance and Covert Human Intelligence Resources.

As part of the course students will be involved in the planning process prior to conducting surveillance operations and special emphasis is placed on reporting procedures, including written and verbal. Students will be introduced to various types of surveillance equipment.

All our Surveillance and Intelligence trainers are from varied backgrounds which include police, military and government organisations.

The course is modular based and conducted from our training centre at Herstmonceux Castle in East Sussex or at Rainford Hall, St Helens in the North West of England.

Outline of Course:

Module 1: Introduction to Surveillance & Roles of the Operative.

Module 2: Stages of Surveillance

Module 3: Static Surveillance.

Module 4: Mobile Surveillance

Module 5: Technical Surveillance

Module 6: Planning & Briefing

Module 7: Intelligence Gathering and Collating

Module 8: Law & Legislation

Module 9: Surveillance Awareness

Module 10: Equipment & Photography

The course encompasses both theoretical and practical training in a realistic environment.
Students will receive suitable careers advice and possible employment placements with reputable security and surveillance companies.

Duration: 5 Days
Award: Level III Surveillance and Intelligence Operator
Cost: £1250.00 inc VAT

ELC/Resettlement grant accepted
Examination and equipment is included within the cost of the course.
