CO19,

Personally, I wouldn't use separate Surveillance companies for each location. To restrict the flow of information I would advise flying a UK team out to where ever the op loc is. Briefing's are kept to the minimum and the team will get to know the targets better over time. Long ops can involve changing members of the team but keep the TL (+1) for continuity. If you employ ex-SF concern is kept to the minimum.

Hello

I somewhat disagree. Deep local knowledge is of high importance with any covert work. If there is a local team that can do the job, I would recommend a local team but with an in-house TL/supervisor.

Just my .02

I've used a Uk team all over the world. If the guys are good - they don't need local knowledge for a Surveillance op!
