Ok I'll try and explain. Every countries military has their own way of doing things, there are certain areas where they operate the same, but for the most part they do things differently. Part of the whole organized military thing is that it is organized- it may not make sense, but there is organization behind it- and that organization normally includes training, what is taught and how it is taught. The military operates on the theory of garbage in, soldiers out. Especially militaries that operate on a national service idea. The same curriculum needs therefore to be taught to all soldiers in the same unit, in the same way, there are no short cuts or alternatives, a recruit follows the standard training plan for the role he has beeen selected to do, whether he has additional skills, qualifications etc.
Military Intelligence- a contradiction in terms I know, be nice any ex British army reading I was Green Slime myself- follows a similar pattern. There are skills required to be taught to a certain pattern, because of laws, equipment and operating procedures. That way a new recruit to the unit can fit in with the operational activities without too much additional training because he knows how things are done by everyone else, because they are all trained the same way. While the Task course is good and no one is disputing that, there is no point in attending before you join the Turkish army. First it is a commercial course and so operates under a completely different standards and aims to military surveillance/ intelligence operations. Chances are the operational activities in the military are so different to the Task course, that it would be wasted. Second with the military just because you have a qualification in something does not mean you will do that as a military role- placement officers have a sense of humour. Even if you are allowed to state a preference for unit, if there are no vacancies or they feel bloody minded you'll find yourself going to the infantry. If I were you I wouldn't spend the money before you go and do your national service, when you leave the Turkish Army then look at the course, but before hand it is a waste of time. |

Again mate, dont think any military is going to be interested in a civilian course regardless of what you reckon is a no brainer... I and others have tried to point this out to you and you havent seemed to care about the opinions you asked regarding which is the best.... as for the comment regarding your muppetdom , most likely that was response to you flying off the handle and giving a long spew about how professional and large the turkish army is (including getting shirty with the monkey) .... as for my input I would suggest you join your military, utilize your language skills and then see if there is a way to become a surveillence operative through their training system. Your apology to covert monkey is not really an apology as I have spent the past 20 mins trying to mispell covert and havent came up with damp yet..... maybe Blackwater would suit you .... they have loads of muppets !!! If it looks like a duck , swims like a duck and makes noises like a duck ....there is a fair chance it is a duck!

why would you spend 20 minutes let alone a second trying to spell covert into damp?
You wouldnt know the first thing about the military so dont start blabering rubbish here mate ok. Ive asked this question to countless number of ex military british and otherwise, and they all say it would be an added bonus and that i should look for the right type of course. So this is why im here to see wich company offers the best courses around the world. If you dont know then dont bother replying dam... is this how you treat all your new members? |
