Surveillance and Intelligence in the military?

Hey,

Im intrested in doing a Surveillance and Intelligence course with Task international.

My aim is to complete the course and hopefully use it in the military, Im going to be doing 15 months national service in the Turkish army and was thinking that if i had this course on my belt then they might employ me or put me in a position were my skill would be utalised, that way i would gain some military experiance. Then i want to come back and use the experiance to find a good job probably as a PI.

Basicly does anyone think that the Turkish military would be intrested in me if i passed with Task, or do i need to find an international company to have any chance with the military?

My friend recons that they might put me with the Gandermer (a form of military police for civilians, in rural areas) to help them gather intel on people i guess...

Any help is welcome... And if there is anyone who has completed this course with task, could you tell me what it was like and iof possible could you show me some test papers or documents or books acompanieng the course if possible...

Mate in all honestly i doubt very much The Turkish Army would care if you've done the course or not.

They probably wouldn't care and have prob have never heard of it?

What Covert Munkey said dude. I f you are doing National Service , chances are that you will be used for all the menial tasks regardless of previous training and skills ...

If they want covert operatives , no doubt they will have their own courses and method of operation.

Dont want to dampen your spirits or anything but it is most likely that as NS you will be most likely utilized on base protection and mass deployments rather than specialist tasks.

Yeah damp monkey, they would highly likely know what inteligence and survailance is. I mean what army wouldnt know something so fundimentally basic, especialy a military force that is second largest after america within the NATO alaince. And wich contains in its arsenal the worlds second largest F-16 fleet of over 200 jets, one that has developed its own stealth technology wich can make an object the size of 100 m sq apear the size of a tennis ball. Also they do have there own Inteligance division highly trained, especialy for any form of invassion by any country, they act like sleeper cells who awake once an invassion becomes successfull and start creating mayhem to the invading forces....

I dont agrea with what you think guys, i know for a fact that they are going to give me a desk position just becouse of my knowledge of english, so to say they wouldnt utalise a qualification aquired abroad by the best there is, on such an importand subject as Inteligance is highly unlikely...

Anyway... what i wanted to know is wich company is the best to train with and make a good impresion to any foriegn army

Sorry mate, but if you already know all the answers then why did you ask the opinion of the members here?
If Turkey has such a fine intelligence section and surveillence capability then why would they be interested in your several week course with Task or in fact any other outside agency???
The size and military capabilities of an army are in no ways reflective of their skills in intelligence and counter intelligence roles, therefore the comments made regarding the amount of F-16s etc are irrelevant.
Physical surveillence and technical surveillence are two highly different skill sets and as such your comments regarding the technical capabilities of the Turkish Military are again irrelevant.
You asked a question regarding training and I doubt as such any military (especially one so large and skilled) would ever consider any outside training as being relevant regarding entry level to their existing undercover units.
English language skills are relevant regarding intelligence analysts positions etc but as for special operations roles I doubt they will hold too much sway.

On a different note, you asked a question, gained an answer and then misinterpreted the repies offered.... hope you dont do that when intel gathering !!! Calm down and take your oil ......

No copper I've met has, though that could be because I'm usually drunk and start singing, "this little piggy went to market..." when I see them. That to me sounded like he was taking the piss, I know what they would do if i show up with survailance and inteligance training its realy a no brainer. The reason i asked is becouse i want to know what people who have been working in this profession have to say. They could give advice on a certain company who offer military grade training or something, Boy i dint know this could get so negative.

I was expecting something like, Dont go with task, there designed for the UK corporate market, or just dont go with task ther shit, try Blackwater or another international company.
