Hi all, I'm interested in this area of work. Just doing a bit of research, found The Cotswold Group came up quite a bit on google, I see that they are also recruiting. Has anyone had any experience of them? I am suprised that they are not on the companies page.
Any opinions on them ?

An internal Mole? Hhahhaaaa I've been called alot worse than that.....
No I am genuine, I was just wondering. Thinking about applying for a job with them. Honest!
Any one any info/opinions/experience good or bad ?

I had an interview with them last year.......Very disappointed. I had an interview with an ex Special Branch he straight away put the Forces Police down. He then passed me onto someone else whom was ex forces, he even said the company paid rubbish and would prob pay between 15,000 18,000 per annum. I was on a uk job at the time and said i was on a lot more. I did not hear from them again.

Thanks for the reply Dan. Hmmm that doesn't sound too good. Perhaps with that attitude that's the reason they are recruiting like mad, 15-18K is a bit pants, I wonder if that's a starting pay. Blinkin' heck for the interviewers to say that it doesn't install much hope. I am trying to get some info on them, not having much luck really, their home page is under construction.

I have a friend who works for the Cotswold group and I can confirm the money is pants and is in fact in the range that was mentioned. There is an opportunity to work overtime taking you upto possibly £24k. Some of the jobs I have given out have paid the £150 a day and to be honest, you can start practically anywhere on a salary for around £24k upwards. stay well clear my friend and look towards some of the companies listed on here.

I know what you are saying, it's just the fact that the Cotswold Group do the whole training that kinda attracts me. I used all my resettlement time and cash from the forces on a sales type course as stupidly that's what I thought I would be doing. The idea of wearing nice shoes , clothes and make up was so tempting! After spending 3 months in a sales role I am pulling my hair out. I need to be more hands on..... I am so not an office sort person.
I haven't approached any other company for work due to the no training thing, maybe I should find some pennies and get on a course.

the cotswold course do train you,but you get no qualifications
they do pay rubbish,dont work for them ever
i would say more but i dont fancy getting sued!
