Default Licence renewal
My CP licence runs out in Feb of next year, i contacted the sia and the following was explained to me.

1. they will accept licence 4 months prior to renewal
2. at the moment there is no requirement to do any refresher training
3. the renewal cost is the same as a new issue ( i did question this as you used to get a 50% discount on renewal, they said they would get back to me!!!!!!)
4. when applying for your renewal fill out the application as before but tick the renewal box (if you have changed your name or address then you must send supporting documents)

so, on the face of things it do's seem that this is a reasonably painless operation, lets wait & see.
